Research report Survey of Field trials with Genetically Modified Plants – Global trends and developments

The COGEM has commissioned a research project to identify which field trials are performed globally. Genetic modification is used to introduce specific traits in crops. The field trials that have been conducted between 2009-2013 can show a trend regarding the crops, the introduced genes and the locations of the field trials. The field trials conducted in this period can also provide insight into future releases of commercial GM crops.
