Application for the authorisation for import and processing of genetically modified maize Bt11 x MIR162 x 1507 x NK603

COGEM was asked to advise on the environmental risks of import and processing of genetically modified (GM) maize Bt11 x MIR162 x 1507 x NK603. This GM maize was developed through conventional breeding of parental lines Bt11, MIR162, 1507  and NK603. These parental lines have already been authorised for import and processing in the EU. GM maize Bt11 x MIR162 x 1507 x NK603 is resistant to certain herbicides and tolerant to certain lepidopteran pests.
