Application for the authorisation for import and processing of genetically modified maize Bt11 x MIR162 x MZIR098 x DP4114 x NK603

COGEM was asked to advise on the environmental risks of import and processing of genetically modified (GM) maize Bt11 x MIR162 x MZIR098 x DP4114 x NK603, obtained by conventionally crossing the parental lines Bt11, MIR162, MZIR098, DP4114 and NK603. The parental lines have already been authorised for import and processing in the EU. GM maize Bt11 x MIR162 x MZIR098 x DP4114 x NK603 is resistant to certain herbicides and tolerant agains certain insects.
