Advice on the renewal of import and processing of GM cotton GHB119

COGEM is asked to advise on the environmental risks of the renewal of the authorisation for import and processing of genetically modified (GM) cotton GHB119. This GM cotton expresses the  cry2Ae gene which confers resistance against lepidopteran pests. GHB119 also expresses the bar gene, which confers tolerance for glufosinate-ammonium containing herbicides.
