Advice on the import and processing of GM maize COR121

COGEM is asked to advise on the environmental risks of import and processing of the genetically modified (GM) maize COR121. This GM maize expresses the IPD083Cb gene which confers resistance against lepidopteran pests. COR121 also expresses the pmi gene, which is used as a selectable marker during development of the GM crop.
