Additional advice on the renewal of the authorisation for import and processing of GM oilseed rape MON88302 in response to EFSA’s opinion

EFSA has recently published its opinion on the renewal of the authorisation for import and processing of glyphosate tolerant oilseed rape MON88302. COGEM has previously issued an advice on this application. In its advice, COGEM pointed out that it considers an expansion of the monitoring plan (monitoring along transport routes and transshipment areas) a prerequisite before granting renewal of  the market authorisation. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Managment now asks whether COGEM’s previous remarks are sufficiently answered by EFSA.
