Application for the authorisation for import and processing of genetically modified maize MZIR260

COGEM was asked to advise on the environmental risks of import and processing of genetically modified (GM) maize MZIR260. This GM maize expresses the eCry1Gb.1Ig protein which confers resistance to certain susceptible lepidopteran insects, and the PMI protein, which is used as a selectable marker during development.
