Overview of containment measures for genetically modified plants 2024 update

The Netherlands Commission on Genetic Modification (COGEM) advises the Dutch government (amongst others) on the containment measures for experiments with genetically modified plants. These publications are written in Dutch and are therefore only published on the Dutch part of the COGEM website.

In order to inform other countries and/or organisations about the containment measures for genetically modified plants as advised by COGEM, an overview of the containment measures is published on the English part of the website. In november 2024, this lists will be updated, in which ‘new’ organisms will be added based on published COGEM advisory reports, and the corresponding COGEM advise will be added.
